J.H. Dowling, Inc. was founded sixty-three years ago by James Hamilton "Ham" Dowling, after retiring from the department of transportation as the state highway engineer. The company is now run by James Hamilton "Ham" Dowling Jr. and James Hamilton "Jim" Dowling III.
